InDiscard counters - Cat6509

Am seeing 1000's of InDiscard counts against a number of ports on 10/100BaseTX Ethernet WS-X6348-RJ-45^C

Running 1.1HW - 5.3(1)FW - 5.5(2)SW

Are these counters significant or merely cosmetic / software bug ?

If have the errors coming in on multiple ports you should check for grounding issues.

Please verify that both the power line(s) and the 19" cabinet are properly grounded.

It could be something else but what you observe may be caused by inductive noise.
