We have installed an IPT ready LAN for a customer, but the customer is having problems with this model of phone when connecting to the 48 port POE 3750.
The phone gets power but does not boot up. The only way we can get it to boot is by hard setting the Speed & Duplex settings. Has anyone had any experience with this type of phone & 3750s ?

We have had lots of problems with Mitel IP Phones and Cisco switches generally. I am not sure if this is the same problem but this is what we experienced: The PC to Phone connection must be the same as the Phone to Switchport with regards to speed and duplex, otherwise it all goes wrong.
What IOS are you running on the 3750's? There are a couple of 802.3af bugs that may have been corrected in the latest?

Andy,
We are running the IOS shipped with the 3750s, 12.1.(19)EA1d.

Download the latest 12.2(25)SE image and see if that fixes your problems, if not I would lookin into the firmware on the IP Phones as a possibility, after that I would raise a TAC case.
You are entitled to free image upgrades for the life of the product on the 3750, although you can't move between SI and EI without paying the appropriate license.
