Hi,
I am connecting ISP through 3640.. Between 3640 & my local Lan is PIX firewall. I gives access some user through firewall for access Internet. I open port 80 for them. They can brouse all the sites, but when they are tring to login Hotmail, after login, they can't able to open mail box. alway at this point, browser goes timeout. At the same time I can access the same mail without firewall..Can you help me..

Hi Banno,
You will have to dig a little deeper, but here's a link. Try and find something a little bit more current, but it will give you a starting point. Take at look at your firewall and see what ports are being blocked on the inside going out and you should be able to track it down.

Hotmail login is done via a secure (https) connection on port 443. You have to explicitly allow it in the pix. If you want to open all SSL then all you need to do is access-list Inbound permit tcp any any eq 443
access-list Outbound permit tcp any any eq 443
That, of course, is going to allow all SSL traffic both ways, however, so you may want to limit it to only those users who need it.
