Use IOS router as DNS Cache

Hello

I would like to use the router as DNS for clients on a remote site. The router will resolve names in a "Real" DNS, and cache the replies before forwarding them to the clients. That way the clients will be able to resolve the most used names even during WAN down situations.

Is that possible ?

To my knowledge the IOS does not contain a DNS server.

You can use ur router only to set up DNS Lookups.
