I have a customer that is concerned about the "actions" of the ASDM managing his ASA's. I'm a CLI junkie so I'm not sure how to help him. I have attached the issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi David, problem might be caused by one of these possibilities:
-check for java compatibility
or
-problem with browser page refresh (arrgh! I cant remember witch parameter to click in IE)
-Bogus ASDM version

"Bogus ASDM version"? Do elaborate. So this may not be an issue with the ASA's being in Active/Standby mode or anything like that?

Does your client make changes on the standby unit?
If its not the case, I'd advise you to refer to this URL to find issues related to your cisco product.

As I mentionned, (and I insist) it is only a possibility your client has a bogus ASDM ver.

I'll look at the link. What would be a "Bogus ASDM version"? How can a version be "Bogus"?

David,
This issue should looks like a software caveat to me.
I would highly recommend that you open a TAC Service Request on this issue.
