In Cisco works 2000,I would like to make a backup task for database so I read through the documentation but I wonder if there is any services we should stop before doing backup

There is a backup directory where the databases are backed up. You can take backup of these databases.

/opt/cw2k/backup

You do not need to stop any services for that. If you need to backup live database, you need to stop these services

/etc/init.d/dmgtd stop

/etc/init.d/dmgtd start
