Has any one run into problems with latency running Clean Access or seen any performance test reports for Clean Access? Has any one run internet gaming successfully under heavy loads?

We just deployed CCA for the summer semester and are getting very positive feed back. As you can expect, however, there are much fewer students moving through the servers. We're currently testing bandwidth limits to help with network abuse, haven't had any negative comments yet and the performance seems pretty good.

Hello Ernst,
The CCA server can serve up to 1Ghps of throughput. As the server is stateless, latency is a negligible impact. For gaming, normally, you would set up a filter for bypass.

Just to play devil's advocate, I'm not sure I grasp how a "server" can be considered "stateless". The each packet still needs to be processed does it not as it passes through the server?
thanks
Ernst
