Hi ppl,

Is there any known problem on GRE running over CEF? We have 2 checkpoint firewall uses GRE for peer to peer connection. Clients are trying to connect to the citrix server via over a wan (MPLS) thru the GRE tunnel.The GRE tunnel will run over our core before terminating at the other firewall.

Branch 1 --> Firewall (VPN) -->GRE-->CE-->PE-->WAN(MPLS)-->PE -->CE--GRE-->Core router-->Firewall (VPN) -->Citrix Server Farm.

One that I am aware of is bug CSCdz31740, but this is the case only if you use software crypto configuration. You could upgrade to 12.3(3.1)T to fix this issue. You could also take a look at CSCec16051 that deals with cef and gre.
