Good morning,
I have a pix 525 UR with Pix 6.2(2) version. I am fingind any confirmation about the maximum number of physical interface supported. I think they are 10, but I found confirmation of it in the 7.0(1).
Is it the same case for the 6.2(2)?
Any link to confirm it in the CCO?
Thanks

Hi Macardell
You can see the maximum number of interfaces with the command "Show ver"
This command returns as following:
...... (omited output)
.......
Maximum Physical Interfaces:3
Maximum Interfaces: 5
....
....
The Maximum Physical Interfaces is the number of phisical interfaces, and Maximum Interfaces includes virtual interfaces.
I hope this can help you.
Best Regards
Roberto

Thanks,
Have you got any link that can confirm it?
If I do not have the card still I cannot really check it.
Is the output you got from a 525 UR?

It is a command you can use in any platform and any version.
Here you have the link you requested.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/prod_release_note09186a00801a6d21.html
I put the output for PIX 525UR.

Roberto
