Max number of interfaces on a 525UR?

Hi All,

Ive read that the max number of interfaces on a 525 UR is 8?

Is this so, i mean what if you were to put 2 x 4 10/100 NIC's in?

That would give 10?

Anyone?

If you put 10, the last 2 are ignored by the operating system....

Yup, this is a licensing limitation - pix 515 restricted supports 3 ints, UR supports 6. For 10 ints, the 535 is the only option.
