NAT on a remote static address

Hello,

Refering to http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/static.html . I am having problem to NAT to a remote internal address

It is possible to NAT 200.1.1.25 to 172.16.1.5 into the 176.16.1.x network?

The tunel work well, network can talk to each other but the static NAT cannot get in touch with the network 172....

would you explain further on what you are trying to achieve? perhaps post the config as well

I have one server on each lan (10.1.1.x and 172.16.1.x). By looking the diagram, assume there is a new server on the 172.16.1.x network.

My people on internet resolve 200.1.1.2 which is nat to my main server (10.1.1.3). If my server goes down for any reason (crash, maintenance), I will like to nat the same internet address to a backup server in the 172.16.1.x network. All this in a IPSEC Tunnel.

The sample confirguration (http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/707/static.html) demontrate only one nat with on server. I would like to use the same setup but NAT a remote internal address.

Somebody told me that I can do that with a PIX (probably because of the global address command) but I am wondering if the orinated address can be translate in the router has the global address command in the pix does?
