Running Cisco VPN 4.6 client, when connected to server i loose all other internet access. is there a work around for this. i have the ability to install duel network cards on machine. the it help desk at work had no idea what i was even talking about. if anyone can help i would be very pleased...

You need to set up split-tunnelling on the VPN server. Currently when the VPN is active all traffic from the client is encrypted, split tunnelling modifies this behaviour. Configuration of this depends on your VPN device.
