Hi all,
is it perhaps possible to upgrade the PIX-515E-R
with this PIX-515-MEM-32 upgrade, without paying
for the whole PIX-525-SW-R-UR= license upgrade.
Regards
Richard

The PIX will recognize this new memory but the configuration is not supported. The UR upgrade is memory as well as a license upgrade for more interfaces, failover, etc... Unless you are going to be adding these features to your PIX, there is no need for the memory upgrade. 32 MB is more than enough for a PIX 515R.

Thanks for you Info,
maybe i did not place my question clearly:
If I get this PIX-515-MEM-32 and install it in a
PIX-515E-R --- will it be recognised.
Thanks
