Running historical reports with IDS Event Viewer

Has anyone figured out the best way to run reports with the IDS Event Viewer for the 4230 appliance?

Cisco Secure Policy Manager (CSPM) Event Viewer provides the user with unmatched ability to filter through large volumes of alarms in real time. The attributes used to define the way in which alarms are viewed on the event viewer may also be used to define a variety of HTML-based reports.

Currently IEV does not support reporting.

IEV is positioned for the 1-3 sensor deployments.

Our enterprise class management console supports reporting.

However, with IEV you may export csv files and feed them into a 3 party reporting tool.

If we find that there is sufficient demand to support reporting for a future release of IEV, we will consider adding it.
