Hi All..I'm installing a small network of 1700s and 7200s and will be encrypting the data.I have had massive problems finding a stable IOS release for both routers.Anyone out there had a similar problem or know of a good release of IOS.Have attached a show ver from both routers and please be aware the 7200 has a sa-vam card installed.

For my 7200 TAC suggested 12.2-11T9. I opened a TAC case with the show ver included and they recommended the version for each - not the best way to do it but it is very confusing as to which version is ok.

I also have a 7200 with VAM, I've been running 12.2(14)T for about 7 months with no probs.

The 1700s were really bad until 12.2(11)T. I've been using 11T & 13T with no real issues.

Hi Ron and thanks for responding . I used one of the "T" releases but Cisco bug CSCdv47880 implies that all "T" releases in major train 12.2 have a bug that stops the VAM card working ?I'm doing some more testing tonight so may well giver 12.2.14.T a go..thanks again for your reply.
