Slow web site in DMZ

We are having a very strange issue. here is our setup: PIX 515e with a web server on the DMZ. the web server is a 2003 server with IIS 6.0.

here is our problem: when we go to the web site internally, the site is very slow. from the public side it is fast.

has anyone ran into something like this?

just wondering if there is any issue accessing the internet from the inside.

the issue maybe related to speed/duplex between the pix inside interface and the internal switch.

do "sh int" to verify any collision etc. also, do a ping test from the inside to the dmz webserver.
