VPN tunnels not reconnecting after Internet failure

We have recently converted our WAN over to VPN using a 2811 at the head end and 2801s at the remote sites. Everything works fine until we have a failure of the Internet at one of the remote sites. After the Internet connection comes back up, it takes upwards of 20 minutes before the VPN tunnel re-establishes. A reboot on the 2801 takes care of the issue.

This happens when the connection is abruptly terminated. Try using clear cry isa and clear cry sa command to reset the connection once it is disconnected.
