Amplify or Regen optical signal

We are interconnecting with another carrier and the distance is over 80km.  Anyone know of a good product to amplify or regenerate the signal?

to boost the optical signal power over the wavelength window on use you should use an erbium doped fiber amplifier

Years ago we used JDS components

for example one device like the following could be a good choice
