Hi,
I have my new ASR 1006 router and there is a CRIT alarm (Critical) show on the front side of the Active Router/Active Sup.
I checked the ASR installation guide and found that this is apprearing at the startup but need to disable by software.
Ref: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/asr1000/quick/start/guide/asr1_qs6.html
Can someone advise me how to disable it from the command line?.
thanks

Have you tried...
show facility-alarm status
to identify what the critical alarm is and then fix.
You may be able to also use
clear facility-alarm
However, most likely it could be some issue such as failed power supply, etc that will not clear.

Hi,
thanks for your response, the issue has been found and resolved. it was due to disconnectivity of one of the ports on interface. After connecting it the CRIT alarm disappeared. (this is at the staging level :))
thanks again for your reply.

I had the same visual alarm on the ASR1006 in both CRIT and MAJOR, as I had created an analog sub-interface to which no cable was connected and which was not in use. the comnado SHUT was given to the interface while connecting the cable and the alarm disappeared.
best regardsCLEAR ALARM
