I need a recommendation on a Router that will NAT 10G worth of internet traffic. 

Paying for all the ASA features, where all I care about is throughput plus NAT, seems like a waste ?

Can ASR1001X-2.5G-K9 do the job ?

ASR1001X-2.5G-K9

This means an ASR 1001-X with 2.5Gbps throughput license.  

Do you want 10 Gbps on a per-interface-basis or 10 Gbps total throughput?
