D9854 still HD-SDI sync output with no proper services input ASI or L-Band.

Hi there,

we are using several D9854 receivers in our headend.

Some with L-band input and some with a ASI input

The problem I have, when there is no input ( L-band or ASI) there is still a sync avalibel at the output and the ChangeOver is not switching too the backup unit.

I already changed the user settings "action on los of Input : no Output"

Are there more settings hidden?

Which output are you looking at?  If you are looking at the analog video out, you should be able to drop the Vsync under an alarm condition.  From a web browser, go to System Settings - Alarms - Setup.  ENABLE the 'Enable Video Cutoff on Alarm Condition' option.
