Hi,
I am working for an internet service provider in last 10 years in title of technical manager. This company use non-cisco routers for BRAS server an this make our technical unstable. I decided to encourage my company to change this devices to cisco routers and I should make a business plan for this change.
We have 20K online users that use the PPPOE connection to connect to internet and BRAS router must support it.Please offer me a Cisco router that can use in this job with high stability and High availability. We can use many routers to make a redundancy.
Thank you very much friends,

ps. I would rather have a single ASR1006/ASR1006-X with dual route processors and redundant cards than a pair of ASR1004's because of the extra redundancy you gain in the 1006. Just my personal choice.

The ASR series is very popular in your space.
An ASR1004 could handle the entire load on its own. Here is a sizing chart.
I find the ASR1006 / ASR1006-X quite attractive. It can take dual route processors, which means it can support ISSU (ISSU allows you to do software upgrades with zero down time - very popular for a service provider).
If you has aspirations of selling private WAN services using MPLS you can pair this up with low cost "PE" routers like the ASR902. You could potentially use them in POPs as well.
