SVI Policing/Shaping

Hi all

We have several 76xx boxes in our network , we have a lot of customers which are terminated on SVI (their gateways are the SVIs configured in our network) , we are trying to apply rate limiting for these customers

We have faced a lot of issues such as ES+ module does not support SVI policing , we are trying to find a QoS model that supports policing/shaping on this model with SVIs in place?

Are there less than 1023 of these customers?  If so, I think your platform supports aggregate policers.

If that does not work, rather than on the SVIs, is it possible to do it on the egress interfaces to your upstream(s)?

Yes the number is less than 1024 , on the egress you mean on the uplink?

It's a layer 2 port will that work?

Yes I mean the uplink.  Can you convert the uplink to being an ordinary layer 3 port?
