UBR10K downstream on different linecard

Hi,

I am trying to assign a downstream to a linecard here.

I want to assign integrated-cable 5/0/0 rf-channel 0 to cable 5/1/0

downstream integrated-Cable 5/0/0 rf-channel 0

ERROR: downstream channels for this Mac Domain need to be on the same card as the Mac Domain.

This is licensed as a 0x20 card, so I do not have any downstreams on this card.

I have just upgraded to 12.2(33)SCF, so I should be able to share downstream between card due to the "Inter Line Card RF Spanning"

Features released in SCF image.

Anyone been across this issue?

Hi

The configuration that you are trying to achieve is not supported. The Inter Line Card RF Spanning feature is supported through custom RCC template for secondary bonded groups and multicast traffic. The CPE traffic will not be forwarded accross theese DSes even if you manage to tune the modems to theese downstreams. You cannot map theese channels directly as a primary capable DSes,for example to send SYNC/MAP msgs on them
