Bosch Autodome 800 VSOM 7.6

We are taking over another departments cameras and they have Bosch Autodome 800 HD cameras.

I am trying to add them to VSOM 7.6.

Does anyone know the correct template to setup for the Bosch Camera?  VSOM keeps stating the camera will not support what ever format I set?

This is the first time dealing with Bosch and Cisco VSOM 7.6    I just updated the firmware.

You can this as ONVIF devices if  your Bosch camera support ONVIF version 2.0 which can be integrated with VSM application or add as generic.

Br, Nadeem Please rate all useful post.

We have a bunch of Bosch as well, albeit much older models. Note that Bosch is supported at 30 FPS only, and if you are doing multiple streams the secondary stream is applied to both "encoder profiles" in Bosch terms. And at the time I integrated them, only JPEG was supported with our older cameras. So we leveraged the advanced recording options in VSM7 to record at a lower framerate to save on storage. On newer cameras this may not be an issue though, since it was related to Bosch interpretation of h.264 when it was just released (these are Autodome 300 cameras I am speaking of).

I understand how to creat a template using the ONVIF profile.  My issue is the Bosch Autodome 800 is stating in its GUI that it supports H.264.  I cannot get VSOM 7.7 to accept anything with H.264. I am having to use JPEG and it is causing latency and lag.  Anyone have an example would be great.

That is what I was referring to in my prior post. The Cisco release notes state that only JPEG at 30FPS is supported. Like other ONVIF integration, each manufacturer can deviate slightly.

As such we have them streaming at 30 FPS then use advanced recording options to record at a much lower frame rate to conserve storage.

EDIT: All that being said, I just glanced at 7.7 release notes, and the mention of jpeg no longer exists in the Bosch section of Supported Devices. So maybe that will solve this... I'll try it today. I would love to get off JPEG @ 30FPS.

Just tested. It works on h.264 but jpeg looks way better.

Somewhere in my testing I killed PTZ functionality though.

Can you send me a screen shot of your Custom Setting in Templates?
