Hi,
Has anyone seen the following error: Cannot reset proxy server. Failed to send MSG_RESET to proxy p_1WH-CAM_16
1WH-CAM_16 is the camera name. All we are trying to do is update the authentication details within the admin software.
Is there any way of getting around this error message without removing the camera from the system and re-instating it?

Neilo,
update the authentication details directly using camera IP in a browser. afterward put the same on VSOM admin console.

Thanks for you reply. I have already changed the authentication details via the IP camera's webpage. I'm now trying to change them via the VSOM Admin screen, which is where the error is appearing. The VSOM doesn't seem to want to take the change. The cameras are Pelco IP110's.

I'm having the same issue. I replaced two cameras that failed. Original cameras are the IPC-2500, but we were sent the IPC-2600 as a replacement. The first camera I configured and replaced went just fine. But second one, I'm getting this error below. One the first camera I had to click on "update authentication" put inthe VSOM password and submit it. After that the video feed would show in window. But on the second one, I followed the same procedure and I get this error message. Any Ideas as to the cause? I have reset the camera twice to factory default and reconfigured it twice, still same message.
