it's the HOSTNAME issue, your windows machine which you are accessing the video needs to resolve the VSOM hostname.

Please try and add the VSOM address in the hosts file of windows machine.

Are your VSOM and VSMS components co-located on the same server?  Is this happening with all the feeds, or only one feed in particular?

VSOM is sending a URI to the client that points to localhost for the video feed (127.0.0.1).  This is definitely not going to work.

Dear Scott

yes, I use co-located for VSOM and VSMS. this is  happening with all camera feeds and only on VSOM.I have tried use run as administrator for IE but still cannot view video feed. Have you ever had this problem before?

Hi Rahmat ,

i am facing same issue which you come accross

please let me know how to apply changes and where to apply changes.

VSOM Live Recording Issue : Failed to load camera feed. Error message 404 not found

I am getting following error message (see in attached) when trying to check recording for the camera. On live mode, the camera is working. What might be the reason? I am using VSOM 7.6. The camera model is CIVS-IPC-3520 ,  CIVS-IPC-6000P

What was discovered was that a database inconsistency between VSOM and the media server occurred and the result of this was that cameras not record.

That was fixed by disabling and re-enabling media partitions, after this cameras start recording.
