Hello All,
Earlier today i initiated a backup from Cpam's web gui.
A download link was created after a while so i saved it on my desktop.
Out of curiousity, i tried to extract the contents of the .zip file (as downloaded from cpam) BUT with no luck.
The error msg (from Winzip and windows native zip program) was that the archive was invalid.
I re-run the whole procedure again but in vain.
So my question follows: Shoud i have been able to extract the contents or not?
For, i wouldnt like to come across a restore situation with an invalid backup .zip file!!!!
Anyone?

Hello,
It is comletely normal to not be able to open the CPAM backup with any commercial unzip program.
The backup zip file is encrypted so that it cannot be opened by winzip or other zip file extracting program.
You need to use the Restore option from within the CPAM GUI under Setup > Restore.
I hope this helps,
Jim
