CPAM Gateway for Elevator Control?

Got a curveball this morning. A customer wants to retrofit a badge reader for their elevator (2 story bld). Does anyone know of any restrictions on elevator controls? I plan to call the local fire marshal on the regulations but I am more interested in how the controls will get in to a gateway?

What they want to do is have a bage read either call the elevator or allow the elevator buttons upon successful authentication.

CPAM doesn't support elevetor control, but you could use global I/O rules in conjunction with a 'Door Grant Access Extended' event to signal the system if you can set something up in the elevator's controls to pick the signal up.
