Defective Cameras?

just received 12 cameras Cisco 2600 and 2 4500 after initial testing on a 3750X ( all on the same port gi1/0/9) out of the 12 cameras 2600 5 cameras cannot power on, the switch is sending a power Tstart error detected.

Can it be possile to receive so many defective cameras? Or do you have any info on this problem?

Did you try resetting those camera , also try to power them up directly with adapter.

I had a similar issue with some 5011 cameras I was working on at my desk.  I didn't troubleshoot it much, but there appears to be something going on if the same switch port is used and different cameras are tried 1 after the other.  Since I had a switch at my desk, I just changed ports, and the camera powered on.  I was using a 3750G w/ POE.
