Hi,
I am trying to deploy Cisco Video Surveillance but having this error while adding IP Cameras
Error:
Endpoint Error <Cam_Name> Unreachable
The VSMS, the VSOM & IP Cameras all have reachability. The login credentials are also correct and I also tried adding the IP Camera with different settings i.e. using different video codecs.
VSMS & VSOM are on different Servers
IP Camera: Cisco CIVS-IPC-2611
VSM & VSOM Version: 6.3.2
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Haris,
Endpoint error can mean one of several things -
Start troubleshooting by viewing entries in the ims.log for that camera. SSH into the VSMS server and verify the camera may be pinged from the media server. Are the camera and VSMS and VSOM on the same vlan, or is it possible the network is blocking ports needed for the video stream?
Are you able to view video from the camera directly?
Do you have other 26xx cameras deployedfor which you can see video from VSOM?
Thanks,
Jim
