Operation failed: failed to fetch device info after authentication update succeeded

Replaced a camera and am trying to get it back up and running properly.  There is a configuration mismatch between the media server and vsom, but all the configuration update methods (repair, replace) have failed.  Also tried to disable/enable the camera to no avail (advice from a discussion that I saw posted regarding clearing camera errors). 

Has anyone had this error?  What did you do to resolve it?  Does anyone have any idea as to how I can clear this error and get this camera running in vsom??

I am running vsm 7.0.

Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

This was a firmware issue.  I thought we had all of our firmware issues ironed out, but one of our technicians inadvertently uploaded the incorrect firmware for this camera model.  After firmware was corrected, the configuration update job completed successfully and the camera came back online ok.
