Hi,
I was curious to know if anyone here has ever used a Cisco camera to do time-lapse captures? In this case we have a camera up in an area where a building is being constructed. It was brought up that it would be perfect to do a time-lapse of the construction over time. Is there a way to do this with this camera, or with VSOM? If so how did you set it up? I imagine there are 3rd party software packages that can do this as well but I do not know of any. We are just looking to take one snapshot every hour or so.
Any ideas or input is appreciated.

I haven't checked in a *very* long time, but I believe there used to be a way for the cameras to ship JPEGs to an FTP server (via the native camera UI) on a regular schedule. I *could* be confusing it with something else though.
Check to see what you can do for event setups in the camera firmware?
