VSMS Serial Number Lookup

Where in the VSOM or VSMC interface can you look up the serial number of the unit? I have no problem doing finding this for SREs because I can show inventory from the router. On the 1U servers the CLI doesn't allow show commands because it's bash.

Hey Aaron I had asked that same question to one of the BU team and I was told you cannot see the server serial number in the GUI or CLI.  Sorry sir.  Dont shoot the messenger.

Yup... one of my pet peeves as well.  Always had a smartphone handy to snapshot ETH MACs and SNs so that we could correlated after the fact for documentation and support.

I believe Cisco is working towards resolving this with newer chassis.
