Having an issue with DUO desktop, think its related to the MacOS beta for Sequoia. Any idea when this will be updated?

Hi there!

We don't claim to support macOS beta releases with our software, but rest assured it will be tested for compatibility ahead of the Sequoia GA. If for some reason our apps aren't compatible with Sequoia GA day 1, we'll note that in our documentation.

Duo, not DUO.

So it's released now, time to figure out why and provide a solution.

@Thomas Schmitzer - we did.

Version 6.13.0.0 - September 10, 2024

  • Fixed firewall detection on macOS Sequoia.
  • Added support for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Added translations to Duo Desktop authentication.

ETA Consider subscribing to the Duo Release Notes topic to stay informed about updates.

Duo, not DUO.

I experienced the same issue after upgrade to macOS Seqoia 15.1.1... and my previous Duo Desktop version (previously working) was 6.10.0.

Anyway... 7.1.0 is now available (in addition to 7.0.0)... and after I forced a new Duo Desktop PKG download & install... it is working again

@Shawn Wargo Did you have automatic updates disabled for Duo Desktop? If not, interesting that yours didn't update automatically. Hopefully it will going forward.
