Folks,
I am in the process of upgrading software in our UC environment, which is mostly way behind. I am having to do this in multiple steps in order to maintain compatibility, for CUCM, UCCX, and Unity in particular, with the least disruption in the production world.
I recently upgraded CUCM to 7.1(3) and have planned an upgrade for UCCX from 7.0(1)SR5 to 8.0(2). The next step after that is upgrading CUCM to 8.0(3a) and migrating to UCS/VM, and more of the same until CUCM and UCCX are up to 8.5(1) at least, and in UCS/VM..
I am trying to avoid having to upgrade Unity, which is currently 7.0(2), until I get up the chart as far as I can. The compatibility matrix tells me I can do that, but upgrading CUCM beyond 7.1(3) requires upgrading the TSP from 8.3(1) to 8.4(3).
So far I haven't located anything specific to upgrading/updating Unity TSP without a software release upgrade, and not having tinkered with Unity for some time I'm not sure what it would take. Is there any process you can suggest, or point me to a document that describes the process?
Thank you,
Mike
