the Cisco IronPort Security Plugin gives an error message on Outlook startup with Java version 8u31 installed. After dismissing the error, Outlook continues to boot. The Send Secure button is still operational, and emails still get encrypted. But it happens every time and we can't have that impact on our users. It seems that if we uninstall and reinstall the plug-in, the issue corrects. Does the install record the java version somewhere that we can do a simple update of the file without performing a system wide uninstall / reinstall or upgrade to 7.4?
The error is "Java Runtime Environment is not found in your system. Please run plug-in installer or install JRE manually.
