Hi,Wondered if someone could help,
One of our support guys changed the password on the PAN ISE (1.4) and didnt record the password correctly, so we ended up locking the only ADMIN account. No Problem said I!
arranged for someone to pop the 1.4 DVD boot disk, and was expecting to see 4 options, 3 and 4 being the password reset, we did not get these options,
we had
1) install ISE via keyboard / mouse
2) install ISE via Serial
3) system utilities via keyboard / mouse
4) system utilities via Serial
allready thought it was strange, as option 3 and 4 should be password options as per Cisco documentation.
went for option 4, and there was a recover password option, but I got "ISE failed to find ade-os startup configuration"
So now I am completey at a loss, as to how I get back a login.. cli and http both locked out, and no way of resetting even with the disk! most annoying!
Help?
