Hello everyone,
In a remote office, I replaced the rack with 2 new C9200L-48P-4G switches (installed version: Cupertino 17.9.5 (MD), the latest available).
We already have many Catalyst 9200 switches in production with this release, but only on this new stack do I see this error in the log, repeated approximately every 5 minutes:
Oct 21 11:53:31.956 CEST: %SIF_MGR-1-FAULTY_CABLE: Switch 1 R0/0: sif_mgr: High hardware interrupt seen on switch 1
Oct 21 11:58:31.962 CEST: %SIF_MGR-1-FAULTY_CABLE: Switch 1 R0/0: sif_mgr: High hardware interrupt seen on switch 1
Oct 21 12:03:31.961 CEST: %SIF_MGR-1-FAULTY_CABLE: Switch 1 R0/0: sif_mgr: High hardware interrupt seen on switch 1
Oct 21 12:08:31.974 CEST: %SIF_MGR-1-FAULTY_CABLE: Switch 1 R0/0: sif_mgr: High hardware interrupt seen on switch 1
I was considering reinstalling the operating system or downgrading to version 17.9.4 and possibly redoing the upgrade. However, these switches are in production, so I need to plan the activity in advance.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? If so, did you resolve it another way?
Thanks
Alessandro
