Hi all,

I'm configuring my new RV120W. The attached image shows the settings in the panel 'Remote Logging Configuration'. But it complains 'Test mail delivery failed' after I press the Test button.

I checked the admin manual and the online doc(https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/routers/cisco-rv-series-small-business-routers/smb1330-configure-e-mail-logs-by-schedules-and-remote-syslog-server.html), but I still can't figure out the problem. Could anyone give me any suggestion?

BTW, my email service provider shows me the following information:

Server address:
POP3 Server: pop.163.com
SMTP Server: smtp.163.com
IMAP Server: imap.163.com

So, I hope my settings is correct.

Thanks for your reply.
I update my settings with the following methods, but none of them work. Let me assume that my email account is abcd@163.com and password is 1234.

1.
E-Mail Server Address:appleimap.163.com
SMTP Port:993
Return E-Mail Address:yaoyansibase@aliyun.com
Send to E-Mail Address (1):abcd@163.com
Authentication with SMTP Server: Login Plain
Username:abcd
Password:1234

2.
E-Mail Server Address:applesmtp.163.com
SMTP Port:465
Return E-Mail Address:yaoyansibase@aliyun.com
Send to E-Mail Address (1):abcd@163.com
Authentication with SMTP Server: Login Plain
Username:abcd
Password:1234

Do I have to add access rules in the Firewall for sending the email?

Check the ports and adjust based on the information provided on the website.

https://www.serversettings.email/163.com-email-server-settings-imap.php

check the logs see if anything dropping ?

add new screenshot configuration after changing the SMTP settings.

I set the port to 465 and set Authentication to CRAM-MD5, then press button "Save", then press button "Test" to send a test email. Here is the screenshot.
