Cisco SB RV180 VPN users not showing up.

I have a Cisco Small Business RV180 and I have several VPN users configured.  IPsec between my home router (also an RV180) and work router (router in question) is working fine, several PPTP users working fine and 1 QVPN user that works as well.  I set up another qvpn user and it didn't work.  I went back into the router to check and make sure I hadn't goofed something up and saw that I had 8 lines, 1 and 2 were the QVPN users and 6 other PPTP users, however, the "pages" footer (for lack of a better word) only displays 1 -5 of 5 instead of the 1-8 of 8 I would expect it to show.

I dumped the cfg file and opened it up, all 8 user configurations show up.  One was my user account which showed negative numbers for the logon time, something like -1day -hours -minutes -sec, so I thought that that might be locking up the router or something so I deleted my PPTP account but it didn't allow the new user access.  I deleted all PPTP accounts and no luck there either.

I'm running firmware 1.0.2.6.

Thanks all!!

Hi Dale, thanks for using our forum, my name is Johnnatan and I am part of the Small business Support community. When you are configuring a remote VPN connection, there are some steps that are lost on the path. Here you can see those steps.

I hope you find this answer useful, if this doesn´t resolve your problem could you please provide me pore information about your issues, for example logs?

Dale,

We have seen some strange behavior configuring devices with some web browsers. Did you try any other browsers?

- Marty

Jonathan,

I tried what you had posted with no luck.

Marty,

I've tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome.  Is there a browser that Cisco's web browser likes better than most?

I turned off all the settings and tried to set them up again.  No luck.  I actually have 2 other RV180's that I had bought for friends that I have not setup yet, so I'll grab one of them and restore from a config file I have, if that doesn't work or IS the problem, I'll reset it and start from scratch which I REALLY don't want to do.

EDIT/UPDATE

I started from a fresh RV180, set it all up with basic settings, it's IP, and WAN settings so computers could get out to the net.  With NO other settings configured, no port forwards, no routes, etc, it won't work.  Two QVPN connections seem to work but nothing else.  I've disabled password strength thinking that might help, but it doesn't.  Anybody know where I can get the previous firmware to flash it back a step and see if that works better? <--Nevermind I found it and going to give it a go.

Still not much luck with getting this to work.  Is this router supposed to be able to do 10 QVPN users AND 10 PPTP users or only 10 VPN users ALL being QVPN OR PPTP?

I have deleted all the PPTP users and now all 8 seem to be showing up.  I have one odity though, I can put in the users last name and the connection works, I can use their first name, middle initial, and last name and it works, but when I use the persons first name and last name (FirstLast format) it won't connect; password is the same for all formats.

I have this problem too, but it just started.  When I first setup VPN users I had the next previous controls in the window that lets me show the next 10 users.  Now those controls are gone from the web interface so I can only edit or show 10 users despite having 15 functional users.  I've tried all the IE, Firefox & Chrome.  Still no controls on the web page.
