Hi Lumir,

Using port forwarding you can send the Wake on LAN packets from the web interface to a LAN IP address. Port forwarding in supported on all SBS routers.

Usually the problem is to find a Wake on LAN software which to send the packets through internet - meaning to create unicast, instead of broadcast packets.

Hi,

I have configured port forwarding for UDP 9 to NAS. Also have 'allow' firewall rule for this service.

I can wake on my home NAS over internet, but only 5 min. after power off. Then ARP entry is cleared and WOL not works.

Problem is, that RV042G not allow static ARP entry. Also forwarding is allowed only to regular IP, not to broadcast address.

Bye,

Lumir
