Hi All,

I have a IR829GW that has a red flashing led on the WLAN.

I need to setup the WLAN for the Wi-Fi to be able to do some basic testing.

Please see below the boot up process and commands used.

Flashing or Steady Red — The embedded AP803 inside the IR829 has reported a hardware or software problem.

 M.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Thanks Marce. I had already realised that the problem is within the AP. However, If its a software issue which I believe it is then I would like to know what to do to fix it.

  - The only thing you can do is try to use the latest firmware available on the device (if applicable) and check if that can help. If not it can be a hardware problem too , as reported in the documentation. If not convinced you will have to resort to contacting Cisco  TAC.
