Just upgraded from RV325 to RV345 and keep getting the following log messages repeating over and over again.  Hope someone knows what the messages are trying to tell me.  Log messages are as follows:

2019-07-25T13:01:00-05:00 <error>PnP: Last message '[9644]: pnp.infra.ne' repeated 2 times, supressed by syslog-ng on SGWS-MS

2019-07-25T13:01:00-05:00 <warning>PnP: [9644]: pnp.discovery.mechanisms.dns_discovery WARNING Attempting HTTPS DNS Discovery without NTP sync

2019-07-25T13:01:00-05:00 <error>PnP: [9644]: pnp.infra.network.HTTPConnClient ERROR HELLO failed

I assume PnP is Plug n Play and NTP is Network Time Protocol which are both enabled and set to default values, so what is possible wrong?

Did you ever find a solution?

I have similar problem on my RV340 with the newest firmware.

It's very annoying because i get this error every 45 minutes.

Have no idea how to fix it.

Yeah a little help needed here.  What is this problem and how do we fix it?  My logs are filling up with this message...

I'm beginning to think they don't care and are not going to help! This is
an old issue and they have not helped thus far. I'll never buy another
Cisco product again.

I also had this issue when upgrading from a RV340 to the RV345P.  I am running FW: 1.0.03.17.

I have exactly the same issue...

RV345

JeffMartin09424 and others on this thread,

I had the same issue when upgrading to an RV345P from an RV340.  I also have Cisco 2800's and 1815's in the network with Cisco's Mobility Express.

The error message comes every 40 seconds or so, and looking at the logs you post is very similar...

"pnp.infra.network.HTTPConnClient ERROR HELLO failed"

It was an easy fix for me. I disabled PnP in the System Configuration section. It's a check box to clear.  The router will no longer attempt discovery and your logs will not fill up with the error.   I am running 1.0.03.17, and I see from the Cisco notes that PnP is enabled by default in the firmware.

Note that Cisco has PnP support through Cisco.com, so it may be something you might want to look into.  I just didn't take the time and just disabled it.  if you navigate to the PnP section in the router, you can read the online Help (yes...I had to read part of the manual when I had the same issue)...I include the short portion from this section below.

Good luck...and I hope you do buy Cisco!  I find their community help great (for free) and their TAC support excellent (for the devices I have under contract).

Plug and Play Connect Service

Plug and Play Connect is a Cisco-provided service that is the last resort used by a Network Plug and Play-enabled device to discover the server. To use Plug and Play Connect for server discovery, you must first create a Controller Profile representing the Manager, and then register each of your devices with the Plug and Play Connect Service.

To access the Plug and Play Connect Service, follow these steps:

Procedure

Step 1

In your web browser, navigate to https://software.cisco.com.

Step 2

Click the Log In button at the top right of the screen. Log in with a cisco.com ID associated with your Cisco Smart Account.

Step 3

Select the Plug and Play Connect link under the Network Plug and Play heading. The main page for the Plug and Play Connect service is displayed.

I have had an intermittent problem where all devices on my LAN lose internet connectivity.  This is sporadic and irregular. I use 2 separate ISP's so have 2 modems plugged into each of my RV340 WAN ports.  I've tried rebooting those modems, which seemed to help, but the problem kept coming back. Then I turned on logging in my router and started to see the same messages as above. So I turned off PnP, but my question is, can this cause LAN devices to stop finding the internet?  Or am I going down the wrong path and maybe I still have another issue?  I'll find out if I wait long enough, since it was happening at least every few days (3x today).

I have the same problem, on multiple routers (RV340 & 345). All devices lose internet connectivity and as you said, it is sporadic and irregular. The only solution so far is to reboot the router. And there are only pnp related entries in the log so (thanks to this thread) I will try to deactivate PNP and see if the problems still occurs. Next step will be te replace the router since a cannot understand and yet explain why this is happening.
