Installed ProtectLink on an SA520 for a family. They asked that the kids be blocked from youtube during the day.
The streaming video url block also blocked Tivo service updates (guide data) and iTunes App downloads or updates.
I turned on debugging level logging for everything, attempted the connections again. The url block counter goes up but the log doesn't show the url rule that got hit.
Is there any way to see those rules in the log so we can know the conflict?
Also, is there another way to add exceptions by host? I tried to do it in firewall rules but ProtectLink took precedence. In the case of Apple, the AppStore and content downloads are from exactly the same server so I wouldn't expect it to be able to be configured but in the case of Tivo, the guide data servers only serve that - no streaming content.
