• 1 to 8 fabric card shelves

This is a carrier routing system.
The unit can support up to 92 teryabyte per second which powers the first OC-768c/STM-256c IP and dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) interfaces.
The device up to 1152 connects for the 40 gpbs line cards for the packet over sonet.
I would recommend to post or move this topic over in to the WAN routing/switching section for discussion on this product.

I could not see such ports on this multishelf system that could be able to support such amount of line cards?
