I purchased an RV 120W to replace a Netopia R910 router in our office. The reviews I read were good and the data sheet sounded like a good match. Here is my issue... We connect to various client sites using RDP connections, and many some of the sites have an added requirement that we connect via Microsoft's VPN connection first and then use RDP over this connection. I successfully connected to the sites using MS VPN, but all RDP connections used once the VPN connection is establish freeze with a black screen, eventually timing out. I swap back to the Netopia and these same connections work flawlessly. These are outgoing connections from PC's behind the router to sites outside the private network. I would think that once the VPN connection is established, the RDP packets would pass over that connection freely - what am I missing here?
