I am going to use the right-to-use license upgrade and have a question on whether the switches have access to a permanent license for IPServices. I was not involved in the purchase or deployment and dont know what license level has already been paid for. Here is some output:

My undestanding of how these units are licensed is pretty thin, but it looks like these switches already have access to a paid license for IPServices though they were deployed with IPBase. Is that a correct assessment?
I expected to have to use the Evaluation and then follow on with purchasing the IPBase Permanent License prior to the Evaluation period expiring.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Your switches currently do not have an IPServices licence.

Thank you for the response, p.dath.
Can you help me understand how you make that distinction?

It says you have an evaluation licence "License Type: evaluation", and it is not activated "License State: Not Activated".

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Index 1 for both switches shows:
Index 1: License Name: ipservices
Period left: Lifetime
License Type: permanent
License State: Not Activated
License Count: Non-Counted
License Location: Slot 1
I'm wondering if I simply activate the IPServices license type "Permanent", would that be a fully licensed code set? If not, I'm curious why it would be listed as an option...?

Sorry didn't spot that. Was too busy lookng at index. Yes it looks like to me you have an ipservics licence. You just need to active it by accepting the EULA.

Thanks, that was what I was hoping!
