sorry for the seemingly dumb questions, i'm very much a newby at the whole vpn thing..
I know these RV series routers can support vpn as a server, but why can't they act as a client?
What's the difference? in the end, isn't everything just exchanging data through a vpn tunnel?
I'd like to use an RV series router as a vpn client (I have an RV042, but I will upgrade to a newer model if needed).
I thought it was all pretty much as simple as getting a cert from the vpn provider and going from there but apparently it's not.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
