Hi Guys,

Please help me. I have this encountered problem whenever I will reboot my RV042, my other RV042 who are connected on the same switch will also experience downtime.

To explain further my network infra. I have 3 RV042, namely RV042-A, RV042-B, and RV042-C. All have different ip blocks configure.

RV042-A

WAN IP : 192.168.120.254

LAN IP :  192.168.120.0/24

===

RV042-B: 192.168.160.254

LAN IP :  192.168.140.0/24

===

RV042-C: 192.168.160.254

LAN IP: 192.168.160.0/24

-------------------------------------------------------------

Whenever I reboot RV042-A, Both RV042-B and C will also loss connection to the internet. Same when I reboot RV042-B, the other 2 RV's when also loss connection to the internet.

Please advice on what was the cause of my problem.

Thanks.

Deo

Hello deocanave,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue.  I do have a few questions are 2 of your routers in router mode or are all of the RV042s in gateway mode?

Why does Router B and C have the same WAN IP address or is router B suppose to be 192.168.140.254?

Why are the WAN IP addresses the same as your router's LANs?

Is there a chance you can provide a Topology?

Once I have the answers to these questions it can help me further to isolate the issue.

Thank you,

Michael D.
